Ok...so am I the only one who is stumped by folks who choose to not have voicemail? How, in this day and age, can folks believe that they can sell their house, for asking price, within days and NOT be reachable??? I've spent the better part of two days trying three different phone numbers to try and reach sellers who insist on being notified before scheduling a showing. I can only leave a message at one of the numbers (a work number) but my pleas for a return call have gone unheeded. We have a hot buyer who is VERY interested in this particular property, only in this area occasionally, and they want to see the place. Not uncommon for folks to have a little look-see before making an offer on a property. I realize that keeping a place "show-ready" is a challenge, but that's precisely why I try to give them as much notice as possible before a showing. Tough to give them a heads-up when I can't leave a message, and when I am successful in my attempts to reach some form of recording device, it's as if I'm just, well, talking to myself and some inanimate piece of equipment.
Trust me, people, my call IS important to you, please continue to ignore me....SHEESH!
I'm sure I'll hear back from them when they start wondering why nobody is showing their place....

You know, my MIL doesn't have voice mail. She relies on the caller ID to determine if she'll call back. Grrrrr...
Cool new blog! If you want some links to sites/blogs with information that may help you get things rolling (how to do blogrolls, joining blog groups to build traffic, etc.), let me know. I can set up a feed for you and as I find sites that may help and you can check 'em out.
