OK, so my frustration was apparent in the last post. As it turns out, the person at the work number passed along my message...sans cell number...and I found two messages waiting for me at the office. Even though I was VERY clear that the BEST way to reach me would be my cell phone. VERY CLEAR. As in "the most reliable way to get a message to me would be by calling me on my cell phone,123-4567, again that is 123-4567". So, instead I get two messages at work saying that they don't know when I plan on showing the place, could I please get back to them and let them know. Then the blustering ensued: Calls at work are not ideal, we have been out for the last few days, we keep waiting for you to call back, we don't use the old phone number anymore, I haven't gotten a recent call, I'm not sure what the best number is to reach you, blah blah blah. Let's be honest here. I know when and how many times I called. I know how many different phone numbers I called. I know which ones have voicemail (1) and which ones don't (2). And I know I left my contact numbers on voicemail--at least 4 times (min. 2 per message).
To make a long story a little shorter, I finally got a fourth number and a live voice on the other end! Showing is confirmed. Now if we could just pare down the contents of the property so that it's more in keeping with their streamlined messaging system.....
